Cardinals upset the Cowboys in an emotional rollercoaster of a game.
Cowboys 30 - 33 Cardinals after OT

What happened?
Dallas walked into this one a couple of wins behind the Giants, so catching up meant they could not afford to lose. Everything else pointed their way too. They were heavy favorites; they had the better players, and they were coming off a big win over the Eagles. For three quarters it went exactly as predicted. Dallas had too much firepower, and Arizona just wasn’t good enough.
Then Dak Prescott ran one in to open the fourth quarter, and that looked like the end of it. It wasn’t. Gardner Minshew came off the bench and threw for 188 yards and 3 touchdowns in the time he played. Tyler Allgeier kept Arizona alive on the ground with 147 yards and a touchdown, including a few big runs when the Cardinals needed them most.
With 10 seconds left and Arizona down 6, Minshew threaded a perfect pass to Michael Wilson in the end zone. All Chad Ryland needed was the extra point to finish the comeback, and he missed it. That gave Dallas new life and sent the game to overtime.
The Cardinals were stopped on their first drive, giving Dallas the ball with a chance to win it. Arizona’s defense held, and they got the ball back. This time Ryland didn’t miss, and a 42-yarder through the uprights ended it. What a game.
Broncos win in electric comeback over the Chiefs
Broncos 28 - 24 Chiefs

What happened?
Kansas City led 24 to 13 going into the fourth quarter and lost. The Chiefs had more yards, more first downs, and more of the ball. Patrick Mahomes threw for 321 yards and 3 touchdowns with no turnovers. They still lost 28 to 24.
It started as you’d expect. Mahomes hit Rashee Rice in the first quarter, then Emmet Johnson for a 73-yard touchdown in the second, and Noah Gray late in the third. Denver stayed close with field goals and a Bo Nix touchdown to Jaylen Waddle just before half, but 11 points down in the fourth quarter against Mahomes is normally where games go to die.
Instead, Nix found Nate Adkins in the end zone, and with 9 minutes left, Denver went for two. Waddle caught it. Kansas City’s offense, which had looked unstoppable for three quarters, scored nothing the rest of the way.
Rookie Jonah Coleman ran it in from 5 yards out with 2 minutes left to put Denver in front. The Chiefs finished with 11 penalties for 105 yards, and they’ve now lost two in a row. Denver outscored them 15-0 in the fourth quarter. It’s not looking pretty in Kansas City right now.
Bengals barely survive at home against the Titans in overtime.
Bengals 43 - 36 Titans after OT
What happened?
Cincinnati won 43 to 36 in overtime, and it should not have been that close. The Bengals had 510 yards, Joe Burrow threw for 462 yards and 5 touchdowns, and they still gave the ball away four times. Three of those were Burrow interceptions.
Tennessee started like they had nothing to lose. Tony Pollard ran for 40 yards and a touchdown in the first quarter, and with a pair of field goals, the Titans led 13-0. Burrow answered with a 30-yard touchdown to Ja’Marr Chase, then a 1-yard touchdown to Endries just before half, and the Bengals went in ahead at 14 to 13.
It stayed tight. Pollard scored again, Tennessee went for two and got it, and Cincinnati picked up a safety. Then the fourth quarter started, and nobody could hold a lead. Cam Ward threw two touchdowns, and Tennessee converted another two-point attempt to go up 36 to 29 with under 4 minutes left. The Bengals went for two earlier and missed, which could have mattered a lot.
Burrow hit Tee Higgins from 18 yards out with 1:20 left to tie it, and the extra point made it 36 all. In overtime, he scrambled in from 9 yards for the winner. Tennessee ran for 158 yards, forced three interceptions, and still lost.
Daily Recap
NFL
Jaguars 42 - 7 Colts. The Jaguars were dominant all afternoon with six touchdowns over a very weak Colts team. Bhayshul Tuten led the Jags in rushing and receiving yards and is proving to be a key piece for Jacksonville. It might be time to blow it up for Indianapolis.

Rams 24 - 9 Chargers. Los Angeles won the local game by 15. It’s the Rams’ second win in a row after beating Las Vegas last week.
