🔮 Tonight: Can the Cavs stop the bleeding against Detroit?
🔥 GAME OF THE NIGHT
Knicks 108 - 76ers 94 (Knicks up 3-0 in series)

Philly had no answers. None. Through these play-offs the Knicks just keep showing up and playing good basketball, and Philly looks a team getting ready to head to Cancun. Philly started hot with Paul George getting 15 just to himself in the first. But the Knicks got right back into the game going on a huge run at the end of the first to cut the lead to 4. From there it was all New York with them maintaining a solid lead all throughout the second half.
Jalen Brunson lead the show for the Knicks with 33 points and 9 assists and another big performance in the clutch. No OG Anunoby (out with a hamstring sprain) for the Knicks was no problem with Mikal Bridges stepping up in a big way with 23 points for himslef. Landry Shamet was a spark plug off the bench with 15 points and lead all players with a +20 plus/minus. If the Knicks keep playing like this, who’s to say there won’t be a parade in New York in mid june.
Jalen Brunson (#11) carves through the Philly defense.

Player of the Night
Victor Wembanyama: 39 Points, 15 Rebounds, 5 Blocks
That stat line on 72% efficiency is already insane. But in a playoff game, this man is on another planet and Minnesota had no answers for him. Rudy Gobert has been doing a great job on the defensive end all playoffs but he got exposed today. Didn’t move his feet quick enough and he got punished. If you haven’t started paying attention to Wemby yet, now is the time. He is the most freakish player in the NBA right now, and it’s not close.
🔥 HOT TAKE OF THE NIGHT
The 76ers need to move on from Joel Embiid if they want to contend for a championship.
Sure, Embiid is one of the best scorers in the league and is a former MVP. But the issue is his injuries, Embiid has only played around 50% of his career games and can’t stay healthy for an entire playoff run. The 76ers are better off with him moving on and them bringing in a more consistent, reliable and youthful foundation to build around their star backcourt of Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe.
🎯 TONIGHTS ONE TO WATCH
Detroit Pistons vs Cleveland Cavaliers (DET lead 2-0) Tips off at 8pm UK time.
Detroit are up 2-0 in the series and the Cavs are on the ropes as we head to Cleveland. The Cavs haven’t lost a game at home all playoffs and are 61% favorites tonight but that means nothing if they can’t figure it out. James Harden has been terrible this series and needs to lock in if he want’s to shake his reputation as a playoff choker. This game is also at a watchable time for us UK fans so be sure to tune in. It’s gonna be a fun one.
Other Games Include:
Oklahoma City Thunder vs Los Angeles Lakers (OKC lead 2-0) Tips off at 12:30am UK time.
Carolina Hurricanes vs Philadelphia Flyers (CAR lead 3-0) Starts at 11pm UK time.

🔮 THE CRYSTAL BALL
Donovan Mitchell OVER 25.5 points - Mitchell has averaged 29.8 ppg against Detroit this season and he’s at home with their back to the wall and he is going to tale over. If there’s a night to back him, it’s tonight.
Pistons WIN - The Pistons defense has been electric in this series and although the Pistons did not play well in Round 1, I expect them to get the win tonight on the road and put a ribbon on this series.
